As John begins his epistle in 1 John, he’s inviting us to remember again how he bears witness to the light, love and life of Jesus. He’s inviting us to base our faith on what was seen, heard and experienced - to keep walking in the light of God and stay grounded in the forgiveness given us. We're to be witnesses and herald the truth forward for the next generations.
