God’s ultimate goal for your life is not for you to get married. His ultimate goal is for you to confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, and to be transformed into His likeness. Yet, the desire to be married is a godly one. The question is, do we trust that the same God who saves us from our sins is the same God who is able to bring us a spouse? Genesis 24 presents the story of Isaac and Rebekah’s marriage. It’s a beautiful narrative that gives us a picture of how we can walk in faith, trusting that God is able to bring the right person into our lives in His perfect timing.
