As we continue our trek through The Minor Prophets. The Book of Amos sends an unlikely prophet to deliver some tough messages to the people of God. There are many insights into key themes and key takeaways for us who follow after Jesus today from this short book. We’re called to be people who stay available for God to use. People who live out justice as our worship to God. People who take the blessing and responsibility we have and use it to bless others and not just pad our comfort. People who are asking God to search our hearts that we might know how to use what we’ve been entrusted with for His good. People who stay active relationally with God and not just drifting inactively away from Him. People who still hope in His restorative promise and power.
