Sorrow > Sorry

As followers of Jesus, we’re called to experience godly sorrow at times and allow that to lead us toward reconciliation with God and others. In a world that pushes us to avoid being sorry for things or to only apologize because it benefits us - godly sorrow is about relational restoration not simply image recovery or damage control. Godly sorrow is always about leading us back toward God and others, not away. Paul invites us to live this way as he unpacks this godly sorrow that leads to repentance in 2 Corinthians chapter 7.
