The gospel of John lays out some of the miracles of Jesus as signs pointing toward his identity as Savior and Messiah. As we continue to move toward Easter, today we encounter another sign of the Savior who provides and satisfies. It is found in one of the longest chapters in the gospel of John. It begins with the miracle in the feeding of the 5000 and ends with the declaration Jesus gives. Jesus is highlighting that he is the one ‘bread of life’ who truly satisfies and ultimately provides all that is needed.
