Jack Schull

Lead Pastor

Jack Schull is the Lead Pastor at Elements City Church. Jack and Amy have been married since 1995 and have 3 children. They love doing things as a family and are avid University of Arizona sports fans. #BearDown
Jack has a Communication degree from the University of Arizona, a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Gateway Seminary and has been in ministry since 1990. He has served as a Student Pastor and then Associate Teaching Pastor at Casas Church before helping launch Elements City Church in 2013. He has a passion to help people "know Jesus better" & take next steps in their journey of faith. (Ephesians 1:17)
He enjoys golf, sports, music, travel, good books, lattes and dad jokes.

Lyle Thompson

Associate Pastor

Lyle is the Associate Pastor of Elements City Church, overseeing the Worship/Production Team and the church’s EGroup and Discipleship ministry. He also leads the College Bible Study that meets on Tuesday evenings. He began serving at the church as the Worship Director in 2009, and in 2021 he was ordained after being promoted into his current role. Lyle has almost 30 years of experience leading worship, and he has been passionate about discipleship ever since he led his first small group Bible study over 20 years ago. Lyle and his wife, Anya, have been married since 2010. In his free time Lyle loves to watch movies, play golf, and follow his beloved Manchester United.

Jennifer Warnstedt

EKids Director

Jen is the EKids director and has been with Elements since its very beginning.  She has a love of teaching the young ones about Jesus and creating a space for them to feel loved, welcomed, wanted, and important.  Apart from her job at Elements, she is a full-time teacher of 8th grade math, a mother of two (Bryson and Parker), and an amazing wife.

Matthew Warnstedt

Ministry Assistant

Matthew Warnstedt is the Ministry Assistant at Elements City Church, handling the website and app, overseeing our people database and doing what he can to serve the ministry leaders at Elements.  He and Jen married in 2015 and have 2 children, Bryson (8) and Parker (5).    Matthew can usually be found hanging out in EKids on Sunday nights with Jen.  Together, they are passionately committed to walk alongside youth in their journey with Christ.  He's currently attending Grand Canyon University online for a degree in advertising and applied marketing with a 2027 completion date.

Ariel Triebull

Student Director

Ariel grew up in Cincinnati, OH before leaving for further schooling in 2018. She attended Calvary Chapel of the Finger Lakes School of Ministry and went through a 2-year theology and ministry program.  After that, she returned to Cincinnati for a few years before God powerfully called her out to Tucson. She's been attending Elements City since August of 2024 and is beyond excited to walk alongside the powerful students of Elements as they grow in a deeper walks with Jesus Christ!  She loves going on adventures, travelling, meeting new people, and sharing meals with friends (especially Pho). Ariel is always up for a good conversation, so if you ever see her please  say hi!

Elder Team

The Elders of Elements are serving within the church and leading in shepherding, encouraging and caring for the congregation with the Lead Pastor. This team prays for our church and keeps watch over our church family. They work together to ensure that we are a vibrant, healthy, Biblical community as we live out our vision, mission, values.

Board

The Board of Elements City Church is governed by a set of Bylaws and a Governance Policy document. The Board leads specifically through the Lead Pastor, the Board’s one employee who is accountable to the Board. The Board defines direction and delegates authority in advance to the Lead Pastor rather than approve staff plans. The Board is responsible for ensuring that the vision and mission of Elements are in sync with the will of God for our church and that the staff is leading the church towards them. The Board empowers the Lead Pastor and staff, within the preset written limitations, to fulfill our vision and mission. The Board is proactive by setting policies, and then the board judges the plans to ensure they align with the policies.
