As the Apostle John continues his letter - he’s inviting each of us to investigate our own love? To whom have we pledged and in what ways are we leveraging our love - our devotions? Where are they aimed? We each will face this tug-a-war tension for our attention, affection and devotions to be aimed at the world or at God. We get to choose where our love is aimed. John, reminds us to aim wisely.
