The Apostle John lays out one of the most profound realities in all the New Testament in chapter 3. He introduces us to the truth of our new identity in Christ - we’re God’s child. And that new identity changes everything. God has not only adopted us to him, he’s actually done a new seed of his divine DNA into us through faith in Christ. We’re to now grow up in spiritual maturity to resemble and reflect his nature more and more.
