Honor God With Your Body

As the Apostle Paul continues to coach and encourage these followers of Jesus (and us too) toward the better way of Jesus. He raises the issue of how we're to honor God with our bodies. In a culture then (and now) that can either degrade, dismiss or objectify bodies - Paul speaks to the high value we're to have for our body and how we use it. Our body is not a spiritually neutral container to be used however we please. As a Christ follower - our body was bought at a price, been joined to Christ, is the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, and is destined for resurrection - which means what we do with it matters presently and eternally. We're to honor God with our body.
