Enduring Loneliness

Loneliness rates have skyrocketed to the point where the Surgeon General declared a loneliness epidemic in 2023. It's an issue that is a natural part of the human story. God has created us for connection -- to Him and to others in Gospel-centered community -- and whenever we feel disconnected we quickly feel lonely. What steps can we take to endure loneliness and find our way back to connection? Looking at the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 19 gives us some insight on how we can navigate loneliness, knowing that God sees us and draws near to us as we do so.
