Progress Over Progression

We’re invited into a spiritual journey that pursues progress over perfection. Above the church door is the unwritten truth: “no perfect people allowed” - because there are no perfect people. And against the backdrop of a society that promotes perfection or the allure of it - the church is to celebrate progress over the mirage of perfection. As followers of Jesus, we default into celebrating honesty, authenticity, and the healing help of the Spirit of God alive and active within ourselves and others. We each have a next step in following Jesus. 'If you’re not dead, you’re not done’. Keep going. Keep growing. Keep cheering one another forward in faith.
