Jehovah Chesed - The Lord of Loyal Love

God is Jehovah-Chesed, meaning, “The Lord of Loyal Love”. We live in our culture where love seems to fade, love seems to struggle to last and many contend to define what real love entails. There are some who even question if love has real staying power. But God contends that His committed love is one of chesed - one of true loyalty and one that can't wander, nor waver. It’s the active loyal love of God. It’s involved and an advocate like love that is committed to you; all in - far beyond a reciprocal kind of love. It's the love Jesus demonstrates and wants to grow within us.
