The Myth of Emotional Reasoning

We should always trust our feelings, right? In the age of applied postmodernism, we are increasingly led to believe that our feelings and perceptions define our truth. But the Christian faith has long held that all of humanity is corrupted by sin. If this is true, what does it tell us about our feelings, and how do we define truth? God gave us emotions for a reason, so how do we use them to glorify God in the pursuit of truth?
