God in Three Persons

One of the more difficult concepts for many believers to grasp is the doctrine of the Trinity. The Christian Church worships one God, but says this God is three in One. While many have an awareness of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit very few would feel confident explaining the Trinity, let alone why it is an essential aspect of the Christian faith. Understanding the biblical narrative behind our belief in a triune God helps give revelation to the importance of knowing God as Father, Son, and Spirit.
