A Savior Who Transforms

The gospel of John lays out some of the miracles of Jesus as signs pointing toward his identity as Savior and Messiah. As we move toward Easter, we will lean into some of these signs in order to more fully see the beauty of Jesus and all he brings. Today we see his first miracle recorded at a wedding feast that is running out of wine. Jesus moves behind the scenes to transform water to wine and signals toward his doing away with an old system and introducing something new. He is a Savior who rescues and transforms.
