Lost and Found

This powerful parable begins with a glimpse into the younger son. He’s the one who grabs his track shoes and takes off to get away from the Father. Many still do this today, but it always seems to take us to places where we no longer long to be. Then He comes to his senses and turns in the direction of the Father. The Father is looking, running, embracing and blowing away any expectations of what this welcome would be like. Aren’t you glad God is still like this?! There’s nowhere we can go where we’re ever out of the sight, memory and the heart of God. We’re never too far gone. You can always run toward God when you’re lost…lost and found is kinda what He’s really good at!
